Color Darkener
Blend an opaque color toward black by a chosen percentage, then inspect and edit the resulting color. Processing takes place locally in your browser.

Color Darkener
Darkening blends each RGB channel with black, then rounds to the nearest byte: round(channel × (1 - percentage/100)). This is a direct RGB blend rather than subtraction from HSL lightness. #3B82F6 at 20% gives #2F68C5; at 50% it gives #1E417B. White #FFFFFF at 50% gives #808080. At 0% the base is unchanged; at 100% the result is #000000.
Changing the base or percentage does not regenerate an existing result until you run the action again. After generation, edits in the result panel immediately update the current result in the report. The report includes the original base HEX, the percentage used for that run, and the current result HEX; editing the result does not rewrite the original run context.
Color components are normalized to integer RGB channels. The text field accepts supported opaque HEX, RGB or HSL notation; HSV and HSL also have separate numeric fields. Unsupported or invalid text is restored to the last valid color when committed. Nonopaque alpha, named CSS colors and eight-digit HEX are not accepted by this input. Integer conversion can alter hue or saturation slightly.
This tool works locally on one color. It does not upload or darken images, download files, or check contrast and accessibility. Inspect the copied report and verify foreground/background contrast separately before using a color in your design.
