Folder File List Reader

Lists selected files or a browser-selected folder as one path per line. Uses webkitRelativePath when supplied by the browser, otherwise the file name. It cannot discover an absolute local disk path or enumerate files the user has not selected. Folder selection depends on browser/device support.

An optional path-prefix text field is prepended to every entry. One trailing slash or backslash is removed from that prefix before joining with a forward slash. Example: prefix backup/ and relative file docs/a.txt produce backup/docs/a.txt; a file without relative-path metadata named b.txt produces backup/b.txt.

Preserves the browser's selected order; it does not sort, deduplicate, filter, rename or move files. A prefix changes only the output text, not actual files or folders. There is no path-style, CSV or JSON selector. Empty selection produces empty output rather than scanning the device.

Selection above 2000 files is rejected. This tool reads file metadata and names without loading the file contents, so the 64 MiB content-reading limit of other tools does not apply. Clear removes the current selection and resets output. On mobile use the file picker if directory selection is unavailable, and expect filenames rather than full folder paths where the browser does not provide them.

Local browser operation, no server upload or AI. Output keeps the selected Unicode names and optional prefix; no dates or numeric quantities are parsed or localized. This is a newline-separated path inventory, not an archive creator, directory backup, empty-folder inventory or cloud-drive crawler.
