RGB Color Ramp Generator

Generate 2–100 interpolated RGB color swatches between two endpoints. Preview the gradient and copy HEX values; no CSS export.

RGB Color Ramp Generator

Generates an ordered palette of 2..100 colors between two opaque endpoint colors. Defaults are #32FF00 and #E325DC with 10 colors. Both advanced endpoint panels support HEX, RGB, HSV and HSL. Results calculate on initial load, on count input changes and after endpoint edits; an explicit generation action is also present.

For n colors, each RGB channel is interpolated as A+(B-A)*i/(n-1), i=0..n-1, then rounded for HEX. The first and last swatches are both endpoints. This is direct interpolation of encoded RGB channel values, not HSL rotation, perceptually uniform interpolation, linear-light blending or physical pigment mixing.

Verified example: black #000000 to white #FFFFFF with n=3 produces #000000, #808080, #FFFFFF. Counts truncate fractions toward zero before clamping to 2..100; 3.9 becomes 3, 101 becomes 100 and negative values become 2. Non-finite input falls back to 10. Normalized count is shown in the input so the last color remains the endpoint.

The large preview uses a fixed CSS linear-gradient at 90 degrees between the two endpoints, independent of how many sampled swatches are requested. There is no angle, alpha, arbitrary extra-stop or interpolation-space selector. The textual result is one HEX value per line, and each generated swatch can be clicked to copy its HEX value. Do not describe the text result as exported CSS code or a downloadable gradient image.

A standard-color reference table lets users copy a reference HEX value; clicking that table does not automatically assign it to an endpoint. Calculation is browser-local, no uploaded image or AI service. On mobile use a small count first, adjust endpoints and inspect/copy swatches. HEX values and newline-separated output do not depend on decimal/date/CSV locale conventions. A smooth preview does not guarantee accessible text contrast; test chosen foreground/background pairs separately.

The count includes both endpoints and defaults to 10. Fractional counts are truncated and limited to 2–100. Endpoint panels offer HEX, RGB, HSV and HSL editing, but interpolation always uses encoded RGB channels with rounding to integers. The preview direction is fixed at 90°; there are no extra stops, alpha or color-space controls. Output is one HEX value per line, not CSS code or an image download.
