Grayscale and Desaturation Converter
Convert one opaque color to gray by setting HSL saturation to zero. Preview and copy HEX, RGB, HSV and HSL values.
The method is RGB → HSL → saturation 0 → RGB. HSL lightness is rounded to a whole percent before conversion, so it is neither the RGB average nor weighted luminance. For #FF6347, lightness rounds to 64% and the result is #A3A3A3. There is no conversion-strength or method selector. The result panel can be edited into a colored value; its displayed saturation then follows that current value. This converts one color, not an image; it does not preserve alpha or predict printing, perceived brightness or accessible contrast.
#FF0000 → #808080 #FF6347 → #A3A3A3
