Use newlines for rows and spaces for columns, with local decimals as in the final example. Every row must have the same width, at most 8 rows and 8 columns. Enter complete finite numbers, including scientific notation; no brackets, slash-separated rows, fractions or expressions. A nonempty B is validated even for determinant or transpose. Determinant requires square A; addition requires equal dimensions; multiplication requires A columns = B rows. Partial row pivoting is used. The determinant is displayed to 12 significant digits; this does not improve calculation accuracy. Intermediate overflow or multiplication underflow, including a nonzero input rounded to zero, is rejected. Not every finite input is calculable. Check ill-conditioned matrices with a numerical package. No inverse, eigenvalues, equation solving or exact arithmetic.
