Degrees and Radians Converter
Convert degrees to radians with degrees × π ÷ 180, or radians to degrees with radians × 180 ÷ π. Enter one number without digit grouping. Decimal points and the page’s decimal separator are accepted, as are scientific notation such as 1e2 and hexadecimal notation such as 0x10. Radian expressions accept a single π or pi with an optional coefficient and denominator, including 3π/4 and 2*pi/3. Use an ASCII decimal point in π coefficients and denominators; sums are not evaluated.
Choose 0–12 decimal places. Results use browser floating point and rounding; very small nonzero results use scientific notation. A nonzero input or result that underflows to zero, or a value that overflows, is rejected. Zero itself is valid. An exact π fraction is added only for degree input written using only decimal digits with an optional sign, without a decimal point or exponent, within ±9007199254740991. Other numeric forms receive an approximate result. For example, 90 degrees gives π/2 rad and π/2 rad gives 90 degrees.
Select the direction before entering a value: changing direction loads an example. Each common-angle button fills an example and converts immediately. Editing the value or precision clears the old result; click Convert to calculate again. Clear empties the angle and result while keeping direction and precision. Copy saves the displayed result; there is no file download. This changes angular units only, without normalizing rotations or bearings.
