Remove Blank Lines
The page normalizes common line endings, splits the input into lines and removes every line whose trimmed value is empty. Lines containing only spaces or tabs are therefore removed.
Non-empty lines keep their original characters, including leading and trailing whitespace; trim is used only to decide whether a line is empty. The remaining lines are joined with line-feed characters.
For input 'alpha', a blank line, a spaces-only line and ' beta ', the output contains 'alpha' followed by ' beta ' on the next line, with beta's surrounding spaces retained.
The tool removes all empty lines rather than collapsing a run to one blank separator. It has no option to preserve paragraph breaks, deduplicate content, trim non-empty lines or remove lines by a search rule.
Processing is performed locally in the browser on pasted or typed text. It does not modify an uploaded source file or preserve its original newline encoding.
