Online Serial Number Generator
Generate serial numbers in bulk with a prefix, starting number, quantity and zero-padding width. Processing takes place locally in your browser.

What this tool actually does
Set the number of serials, zero-padding width, optional text prefix and starting non-negative integer. Defaults are 10 results, a minimum of 4 digits, prefix NO- and start 1.
Checkable behavior
The tool outputs one deterministic serial per line. For count 3, width 4, prefix INV- and start 8, the result is INV-0008, INV-0009 and INV-0010.
Controls, output and limitations
Count must be an integer from 1 to 10000, width from 1 to 100, prefix length at most 100 UTF-16 code units, and the full numeric sequence must stay within JavaScript's non-negative safe-integer range.
Padding is a minimum width, not truncation: a number longer than the requested width remains complete. Duplicate serials can still arise across separate runs if the same prefix and range are reused.
Generation runs locally in the browser and produces copyable plain text. It does not save issuance history, check a database, add a checksum or guarantee globally unique identifiers.
Defaults: count 10, prefix NO-, start 1, minimum digit width 4. Width is the total minimum number of digits, not the number of zeros to add; longer numbers remain complete. Click the processing button to generate one consecutive serial per line, then copy the result. Editing settings does not regenerate it. Clear removes only the result and keeps all four settings; there is no file download button. Count is 1–10000 and width 1–100, both integers. Start and final numbers must be integers from 0 to 9007199254740991; a blank start is treated as 0. The optional prefix allows 100 UTF-16 code units, so 50 emoji such as 😀 already use that limit. The whole output, including line breaks, is limited to 1000000 UTF-16 code units. Generation is deterministic and does not record previously issued numbers; coordinate prefixes and ranges across batches.
