Format numeric values with digit grouping
On this English page, 12345.67 becomes 12,345.67. On the German page, the same numeric value becomes 12.345,67. Formatting uses the browser’s Intl.NumberFormat with grouping enabled and at most 15 significant digits; it does not simply insert punctuation into the original text.
Input and precision
The whole numeric list must be valid and finite. Text such as 123abc45, Infinity or NaN is rejected instead of extracting fragments. Use one number per line to avoid confusion between decimal commas and list separators. Do not paste already grouped numbers as though their punctuation were preserved. Input is limited to 100,000 UTF-16 code units and 10,000 numbers; some symbols occupy more than one code unit. Nonzero values that underflow to zero are rejected.
Values are JavaScript binary64 numbers. Long decimals and integers above 9,007,199,254,740,991 may lose precision before formatting; the 15-significant-digit output can round further. Original spacing, trailing decimal zeros and scientific notation are not preserved. This tool provides no arbitrary precision, currency conversion or exact accounting arithmetic. Processing takes place in the browser; review the copied values before using them elsewhere.
