What this tool actually does
Generates three HSL hues at fixed offsets 0,120,240 degrees from one base. Default base is #3B82F6, editable using HEX/RGB/HSV/HSL advanced controls. There is no angle or number-of-colors selector; generate the result explicitly. This is a triad, not split-complementary offsets 0,150,210.
Checkable behavior
Verified example: base #FF0000 yields #FF0000, #00FF00, #0000FF in order. The base HEX stays exact; rotated swatches use rounded integer HSL saturation/lightness with hue wrapping. Equal hue spacing does not guarantee equal perceived brightness, accessible text contrast or a visually suitable palette.
Controls, output and limitations
Generated panels are independently editable and the text result is populated on generation. Editing one swatch updates its text without recalculating the other two, so manual edits may break the triad. Clear restores #3B82F6 and removes results.
Useful for exploring three accent families; evaluate actual text/background pairs separately. All calculation is local in the browser with no photo upload, AI request, contrast score or palette file-format selector. On mobile choose the base, calculate and review three panels. HEX output is independent of local decimal, date and CSV conventions.
