Blur Image Online
Blur the whole image with seven modes, filter-specific controls, a browser preview and PNG download.
Stack Blur uses separable triangular weights horizontally and vertically, with radius 1–180 (default 10) and repeated border pixels. For Stack, Box and Soften, colors are weighted by alpha before averaging and converted back afterward, so transparent pixels do not contribute unweighted hidden colors. Box Blur uses uniform weights at fixed radius 1 (3 × 3). Soften uses uniform weights with a 3 × 3 or 5 × 5 mask, corresponding to radius 1 or 2. Gaussian maps the kernel control to the browser Canvas blur filter, so it is a browser approximation rather than an exact user-specified convolution. No subject selection or 100% zoom control is provided.
Example to try: use an 800 × 600 background photo, select Stack Blur with radius 10, then click Generate image. The expected result is a softened image at the same pixel dimensions. Inspect the whole preview: foreground details are softened too. Click Download images to save the 800 × 600 PNG. Keep the original so you can compare another filter or start again.
This tool does not isolate the subject or automatically blur only the background. Upload a prepared background if the subject must stay sharp. Blur cannot reliably conceal confidential text or faces.
