Online Batch Image Noise Addition Tool
Batch process multiple images: add adjustable random noise. Processing takes place locally in your browser.

What this tool actually does
Batch noise tool for up to 30 selected images. Each file must have an image MIME type, be no larger than 25 MiB and decode to no more than 24,000,000 pixels. The whole selected batch is capped at 100 MiB and 40,000,000 decoded pixels.
Checkable behavior
Noise amount and Noise strength are separate 0-100% controls with step 0.01. Defaults are 30% amount and 35% strength. The same settings are applied independently to every loaded image in the batch.
Controls, output and limitations
For each pixel, selection is Math.random()*100 < amount. A selected channel offset is (Math.random()-0.5)*255*strength/100 and output is clamped to 0-255. Amount 0 changes no pixels; amount 100 selects every pixel; strength 0 makes the selected offset zero.
Monochrome is enabled by default and applies one random offset to all three RGB channels. When disabled, red, green and blue receive independent offsets. This option changes noise color, not the source image's overall color mode.
Worked batch example: load two mid-gray images, set amount to 30%, strength to 20% and leave Monochrome on. In each image roughly 30% of pixels, not an exact count, receive a shared RGB offset in [-25.5,25.5). Each image is sampled independently; rerunning may produce different grain, with no seed control.
Generate creates one browser preview per loaded image. Every result is encoded as PNG and named from the original base name plus -noise.png. Download all triggers separate downloads about 180 ms apart; it does not create a ZIP and does not preserve the original file format.
The interface lists PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF and BMP input, but successful decoding still depends on browser support. Processing, previews and downloads happen locally in the browser; Seeded reproduction, ZIP export and output-format selection are unavailable; metadata and color profiles are not guaranteed to survive export.
Amount is a selection probability, not a guaranteed number of visibly changed pixels: rounding or clipping may leave a selected pixel unchanged. Monochrome shares an RGB offset; it does not convert the source to grayscale or guarantee unchanged hue after clipping. More than 30 files, a corrupt image or any exceeded loading limit rejects the whole batch; correct the selection and load again.
Source limits: each image ≤25 MiB and 24,000,000 pixels; the batch ≤100 MiB and 40,000,000 decoded pixels. An oversized source is rejected, not automatically reduced.
