Online Batch Image Edge Enhancement Tool
Batch process multiple images: enhance image outlines with fixed 3×3 or 5×5 sharpening kernels. Processing takes place locally in your browser.

What Online Batch Image Edge Enhancement Tool actually does
Batch edge enhancement accepts up to 30 selected images and applies one shared convolution-mask choice to every loaded image. The only processing control is 3x3, selected by default, or 5x5; there is no strength slider, threshold or per-image override.
Checkable example
Verified example: in a uniform grayscale image with value 100 and one center pixel at 110, the 3x3 mask changes that center to RGB(150,150,150), while the 5x5 mask changes it to RGB(230,230,230). The larger mask can therefore make the same local contrast much stronger and clip highlights sooner.
Controls, output and limits
The 3x3 sharpening kernel is [0,-1,0;-1,5,-1;0,-1,0]. The 5x5 kernel uses a center weight of 13 and subtracts its 12 axial and surrounding neighbors. Both convolve red, green and blue independently, clamp results to 0-255, repeat the nearest source pixel beyond image borders and preserve alpha.
This enhancement retains the source dimensions and usually retains recognizable source colors because each RGB channel is sharpened rather than replaced with a grayscale edge map. It can also amplify noise, halos and compression blocks, especially with the 5x5 mask.
Each input must have an image MIME type, be at most 25 MiB and decode to no more than 24,000,000 pixels. The selected batch is capped at 100 MiB and 40,000,000 decoded pixels; selecting more than 30 files rejects the whole selection.
Generate creates one browser preview per loaded image. Every result is encoded as PNG and named from the source base name plus -edgeEnhance.png. Download all starts separate downloads about 180 ms apart; it does not create a ZIP or preserve the source format.
Processing is local in the browser. This is fixed-kernel spatial sharpening, not AI detail recovery, deblurring, super-resolution, selective masking or a guarantee of restored detail. Compare both masks against the original; 5×5 is not universally stronger. Retain the originals.
Edge sharpening means RGB channels are processed separately, not that original RGB values or hues remain unchanged. Every Generate starts from the loaded source; repeated generation does not stack another sharpening pass over the preview.
Per image: ≤25 MiB and ≤24,000,000 pixels. Per batch: ≤100 MiB and ≤40,000,000 pixels. Selecting over 30 files or any invalid image rejects the whole batch.
