Solarize Images in Bulk

Apply threshold-based solarization to up to 30 images in your browser, then preview and download separate PNG files.

What Solarize Images in Bulk actually does

The batch tool loads up to 30 browser-decodable images from a multiple file selection or drag and drop. It enforces 25 MB and 24,000,000 decoded pixels per file plus 100 MB and 40,000,000 decoded pixels for the whole batch.

Checkable example

At threshold 128, RGB(100, 128, 200) becomes RGB(100, 128, 55): 100 and 128 remain unchanged, while 200 is inverted. This channel-wise rule can shift hue and is not the same as inverting a pixel by overall luminance.

Controls, output and limits

Inversion threshold is the only effect setting, displayed from 0 to 255 with a default of 128. One threshold is applied to all loaded images after Generate image is pressed.

Each RGB channel is tested separately. A channel strictly greater than the threshold is replaced with 255 minus its value; a channel equal to or below the threshold is retained. Alpha is unchanged.

Each result preserves source dimensions and downloads separately as a PNG named with -solarize.png. There is no regional mask, film simulation, ZIP export, format selector, metadata preservation or animation preservation. All raster processing occurs locally in the browser.

Review every preview, then click Download all. It starts separate PNG downloads about 180 ms apart; there is no ZIP or per-image download button.

Per image: ≤25 MiB and ≤24,000,000 pixels. Per batch: ≤100 MiB and ≤40,000,000 pixels. Selecting over 30 files or any invalid image rejects the whole batch.

The threshold accepts finite decimal values from 0 to 255, including fractions such as 128.5. Blank, non-finite or out-of-range input is rejected; the previous preview and download are cleared.

Processing takes place locally in your browser.
