What Online Image Exposure Adjustment Tool actually does

Adjustment strength field ranges from -100 to 100 and defaults to 25. Channel multiplier is 2^(2*amount/100). Thus 50 doubles RGB values, -50 halves them, and zero is unchanged.

Checkable example

Calculation example: RGB(50,100,150) at amount 50 becomes (100,200,255), with the last channel clipped from 300. Do not describe the control itself as an EV field; it is a percentage control mapped to an exponential multiplier.

Controls, output and limits

This simulates exposure by multiplying decoded RGB channel values, not linear RAW sensor data. It cannot recover clipped highlights and does not edit camera exposure metadata.

Browser-local single-image preview and download. Compare bright regions for clipping, keep the original and inspect the exported copy. No automatic exposure metering or selective mask.
