What this tool actually does

Simple mode offers left 90 degrees, right 90 degrees (selected by default), and 180 degrees. Advanced mode exposes an angle defaulting to 90 with displayed range 0..360 and clockwise/counterclockwise direction. Direction applies to the advanced angle; the signed simple presets already encode their direction.

Checkable behavior

Transparent background is selected by default; solid background uses a native color picker defaulting to #ffffff. Expand canvas to fit is checked by default, and extra margin defaults to 0 px with a 0..1000 control. There is no automatic horizon detection, arbitrary crop or batch rotation.

Controls, output and limitations

With fit enabled, canvas width is ceil(|cos angle|*source width+|sin angle|*source height+2*margin), and height swaps the sine/cosine terms. A 100 by 50 px source rotated 90 degrees with zero margin becomes 50 by 100 px. At 45 degrees with margin 10 it becomes 127 by 127 px.

With fit disabled, output stays at source width by source height plus twice the margin; rotated corners can be clipped. The image is rotated around the output center. Transparent mode leaves uncovered areas transparent; solid mode fills them with the selected color before drawing.

Load one image, choose simple or advanced angle, fit, margin and background, press Generate and inspect all edges, then download PNG. Press Generate after control changes. Processing is browser-local; PNG preserves transparent uncovered areas, and mobile download location depends on the browser.
