What this tool actually does
One scale percentage control defaults to 100 and accepts 1..1000%. The effective scale is additionally reduced when necessary so neither output dimension exceeds 10000 px and the output stays within 24 million pixels. The source SVG must decode as an image and is subject to the shared 25 MiB and 24-million-source-pixel checks.
Checkable behavior
The SVG is loaded in an image context, drawn once to a browser canvas at source width*effective scale and source height*effective scale, then encoded as PNG. Width and height use the same scale, then become whole-pixel dimensions; rounding can alter the aspect ratio of small outputs. This is SVG-to-raster conversion: paths, text, layers, links and editability are not retained in the PNG.
Controls, output and limitations
Verified example: a 100 by 50 SVG at 200% produces a 200 by 100 PNG. A 4000 by 3000 SVG requested at 1000% is capped by the 24-million-pixel budget to an effective scale of about 141.42%, producing approximately 5656 by 4242 px rather than allocating an unsafe 40000 by 30000 canvas.
Rendering depends on the browser's SVG and font support. External fonts, referenced resources, filters or unsupported SVG features may render differently or fail; the tool does not embed missing fonts, sanitize and rewrite SVG markup, optimize vectors, convert PNG back to SVG or guarantee print-color fidelity.
Choose one SVG, set scale, press Generate image, inspect text, clipping and transparency, then download PNG. Press Generate image after changing scale. Conversion happens locally in the browser, but only open SVG files from sources you trust and keep the vector original for future editing.
