Online Batch Image Flip Tool
Flip up to 30 images horizontally, vertically or both. Check each preview and download separate PNG files, processed locally in your browser.

What this tool actually does
Batch image flipping accepts up to 30 selected images and applies the same two checkboxes to every loaded image. Flip horizontally is checked by default and Flip vertically is unchecked; either, both or neither can be selected, with no per-image override.
Checkable behavior
Horizontal flipping mirrors left and right by translating the canvas width and scaling the x-axis by -1. Vertical flipping mirrors top and bottom by translating the canvas height and scaling the y-axis by -1. Selecting both performs both axis reflections, equivalent in pixel placement to a 180-degree rotation without changing the canvas size.
Controls, output and limitations
Verified 3-by-2 letter grid example with rows ABC and DEF: horizontal produces CBA/FED, vertical produces DEF/ABC, both produce FED/CBA, and neither leaves ABC/DEF unchanged. Pixel colors and alpha are copied by canvas drawing; dimensions are retained.
This operation changes pixel positions only. It does not rotate by arbitrary angles, correct EXIF orientation before browser decoding, mirror selected regions, edit text direction or identify whether an image was already mirrored. Symmetrical images may look unchanged.
Each input must have an image MIME type, be at most 25 MB and decode to no more than 24,000,000 pixels. The selected batch is capped at 100 MB and 40,000,000 decoded pixels; selecting more than 30 files rejects the entire batch.
Generate creates one browser preview per loaded image. Every result is encoded as PNG and named from the source base name plus -flip.png. Download all starts separate downloads about 180 ms apart; it does not create a ZIP, retain source format or preserve metadata.
Processing is local in the browser. Review lettering, logos, handedness and directional symbols before downloading because a mirror operation intentionally reverses them. Keep originals; the tool does not provide an undo history after export.
Each Generate starts from the loaded original. Generating twice with the same checked axes does not cancel the flip. Uncheck both axes and generate to restore the source orientation. To reverse an exported mirror, load that PNG and apply the same axis reflections again; this restores pixel positions, not lost metadata.
Per image: ≤25 MiB and ≤24,000,000 pixels. Per batch: ≤100 MiB and ≤40,000,000 pixels. Selecting over 30 files or any invalid image rejects the whole batch.
Processing takes place locally in your browser.
