What this tool actually does
Two independent checkboxes: horizontal flip is selected by default, vertical flip is initially off. Both can be selected, or both cleared. There is no angle, strength, crop, selective-area or batch control on this page.
Checkable behavior
Horizontal reflection swaps left and right; vertical reflection swaps top and bottom. Both together have the same geometry as a 180-degree rotation, not a 90-degree rotation. Width and height stay unchanged.
Controls, output and limitations
Verified coordinate example for a 3 by 2 pixel image whose rows are A B C and D E F: horizontal gives C B A / F E D; vertical gives D E F / A B C; both give F E D / C B A; neither preserves A B C / D E F. The implementation translates the canvas by width/height on selected axes then scales each selected axis by -1 before drawing.
Useful for reversing a mirrored selfie or changing a composition's facing direction. Any text, logos and directional signs are mirrored too. This does not correct perspective or recover content outside the image. Keep the original; regenerating uses the loaded source, not cumulative flips of the previous preview.
Load one image, choose the axes, press Generate and inspect the result before downloading PNG. After changing a checkbox, press Generate again. On mobile use the same checkboxes and buttons; the browser controls file selection and where downloads are saved. No live automatic preview or built-in zoom is promised.
One source image is processed at a time, up to 25 MiB (26214400 bytes) and 24000000 pixels. PNG export saves the browser-decoded canvas, not the original encoded file: animation, EXIF and color-profile metadata may be lost or changed. Width and height remain unchanged, but file identity and exact source color representation are not guaranteed. Retain the original.
