What Online Batch Image Saturation Adjustment Tool actually does
The batch workflow accepts up to 30 browser-decodable images using the multiple file picker or drag and drop. Limits are 25 MB and 24,000,000 decoded pixels per file, with 100 MB and 40,000,000 decoded pixels across the batch.
Checkable example
At -100%, all three channels become their arithmetic mean, producing a neutral grayscale based on RGB average rather than weighted luminance. At 0% values are unchanged; positive values increase channel separation and may clip at 0 or 255.
Controls, output and limits
Adjustment strength (%) is the sole effect input, shown from -100 to 100 with a default of 25. Changing the value requires pressing Generate image again; file loading does not automatically apply the effect.
For every pixel the arithmetic mean of the three RGB channels is calculated. Each channel becomes mean plus its original distance from the mean multiplied by 1 + strength/100, followed by byte clamping. Alpha remains unchanged.
The page renders one result per source and provides separate PNG downloads named with -saturation.png after Download all is clicked. It provides no selective masking, HSL saturation model, color-profile conversion, ZIP export, metadata retention or animation preservation. Work is browser-local.
Review every preview, then click Download all. It starts separate PNG downloads about 180 ms apart; there is no ZIP or per-image download button.
Per image: ≤25 MiB and ≤24,000,000 pixels. Per batch: ≤100 MiB and ≤40,000,000 pixels. Selecting over 30 files or any invalid image rejects the whole batch.
The numeric field accepts finite fractions from −100 to 100. Empty, nonfinite or out-of-range input rejects generation and disables the old download; values are not clamped.
